Charlie Smith is a composer, producer, and instrumentalist from Seattle. After cutting his teeth in the jazz scene, he started working in the pop music world as an arranger. Before long, he joined indie-rockers, Throw Me The Statue, as a sideman. After a few years on the road, he began focusing more on spending time in the studio as a producer. He was awarded Seattle Weekly’s Best Producer for his work with Pillar Point, Kairos, Katie Kate and, Pollens. All the while, creating music for radio and TV ads. 

As the host of The Artist Politic, he focused his creative efforts on giving artists a platform to talk about their thoughts on the social/political issues facing our community.

Now he's applying those years of experience and skill-building to User Experience Design, helping to create products and experiences with the end-user in mind. UX Projects
